A man’s home is his castle, or so the old saying goes.  I like to catch
as much housing news as possible on the AP news before I go to the
office, and this really caught my eye this morning:

Somebody in the Chicago ‘burbs has built a CASTLE and has turned it into a bed and breakfast!  Apparently they started building in 2001, and they just opened this year.  Aside from the oddity of it all, it’s kinda neat to see someone pull off a project like this.  The castle is 4,400 square feet (does that make this a McMansion, or a McCastle?), and can be rented for parties, special events, tours, etc.  My suspicion is that the novelty of it alone can keep this place hopping for quite some time.
